The prevention of engine room fires is imperative to ship safety. In the event of an engine room fire, preparedness of the vessel’s crew is a critical element to its mitigation. Make a Good Catch by ensuring that all personnel are properly trained and familiarized with actions to take to mitigate engine room fires.
