ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
This year went fast! On November 22nd, 2022, we released NAUTIS Home version 0.1.0.0. This was a special day for us at VSTEP, since it was our first product available for home use. An exciting and positively challenging learning experience for us.
Over the past year, our software has undergone a substantial transformation, evolving from its initial 0.1.0.0 version to the feature-rich 0.2.3.0 version.
With each product update, we worked hard to make significant enhancements, including the incorporation of new vessels and environments, adding theoretical courseware, and diverse training scenarios to bring theory immediately into practice.
Essential functionalities such as Navigation, Anchoring, Search Lights, Sound signals and more were developed, empowering users with an immersive and realistic simulation experience.
On top of that, we have demonstrated NAUTIS Home this year at many events, such as Wereldhavendagen in Rotterdam, Europort and soon we will be present at the International WorkBoat show in New Orleans (USA). This has resulted in creating our first NAUTIS Home booth!Â
As we proudly present a stable product foundation, we’re excited about the endless possibilities ahead, ready to build upon this success and unveil even more transformative features in the near future. Stay tuned; there’s much more to come!Â
SHIP DESIGN AND NAMING CONTEST
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of NAUTIS Home, we want to do something special for you!
We are hosting a ship design competition, in which you can enter your design and name for the vessel that is lined up to be part of the product for a release in the first quarter of 2024.
This is your chance to see your own ship design come to life in NAUTIS Home! 
Early next year a new vessel will be developed – a high-speed craft, and this ship is looking for a name and its colors. Will you be the one to design this vessel?Â
You can enter the contest until December 17th. From all entries, we will select the top three. These top three will be posted on December 19th in the NAUTIS Home Community where everyone can vote on their favorite ship design. This voting round closes on December 31st.
The Winner of the contest will be announced the first week of January 2024.
Do not worry, you do not need to be a professional artist to enter the contest! 
You can choose your own preferred method of design creation on the template provided by us. Whether you use an online program or, alternatively, print the template, color it in by hand and then upload a picture, all is accepted as long as the design is clearly visible. All ages can participate!
