Providing tanker owners with clear rules as to how and where to arrange the connecting points and cables safely, the class notation accounts for on-board hazard zones and typical oil terminal jetty designs. It aims to helps tanker operators meet complex safety requirements while reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
