IMarEST UAE Triumphs in the First Annual Ocean Fair International Cup Cricket Tournament
Dubai, UAE – The IMarEST UAE Branch emerged victorious in the inaugural Ocean Fair International Cup Cricket Tournament, showcasing their cricket prowess on the lush grounds of the Ocean Fair Cricket Ground in Dubai.
The tournament, organized by the Nautical Institute UAE Branch, witnessed fierce competition among four teams: Nautical Institute UAE Branch, Company of Master Mariners India UAE Chapter, Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Middle East and IMarEST UAE Branch.
In an exhilarating final match, IMarEST won the toss and elected to bat, setting a commendable score of 61 runs in 5 overs. With stellar bowling and fielding performances, IMarEST successfully contained the Nautical Institute.
The winning cup was proudly hoisted by the Chief Fahad Hayee (AMIMarEST), symbolizing the team’s outstanding achievement. Adding to the glory, Kingsley Robert was named the Man of the Series and received a signed bat from Sir Richie Richardson, former captain of the West Indian cricket team.
