Investors continue in risk on mode in February

• Jupiter India continues to be among the best-selling funds across all ISA wrappers
• Passively managed funds remain popular with ISA investors
• Funds invested in shares, and particularly the technology sector, also feature heavily

“Indian funds continue to be popular with ISA investors. Jupiter India in particular has seen a lot of inflows in recent months. February was no different, with the fund appearing in the top three most bought funds for ISA, JISA and LISA investors. Given performance of the Indian stock market, and this fund in particular, this doesn’t come as a huge surprise. The fund is up 61% over the 12 months to the end of February 2024, including rising by just under 20% since the start of December.

Other popular funds that invest in shares were mainly passively invested, with global and US tracker funds being very popular. Global technology funds also saw a lot of interest, including some active funds such as Liontrust Global Technology and Blue Whale Growth.

Diversifiers within the most bought in February were extremely limited, with just the single money market fund making it into 10^th spot for LISA net buys. No fixed income or multi-asset funds made it into any of the top 10s in February, highlighting the very risk on sentiment amongst investors keen to add shares to their portfolios.”
