During the most recent Propeller Assembly, held on Friday, November 15th, in La Spezia, Umberto Masucci was re-elected as President of The International Propeller Clubs Italia for the 2024–2027 term.
Umberto Masucci commented: “The next term will continue to focus on numerous national and international activities and will be particularly dedicated to the ideas of the younger generations.”
The next Propeller event is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, in Rome, where Clubs will meet with national stakeholders.
For 2025, in addition to the usual commitments, two major National Conferences are already planned: the third edition of Shipping, Transport & Intermodal, organized by the Genoa Propeller and Telenord in Rapallo, on January 31th and February 1 st, the ninth edition of Shipping & Logistic Meets Industry, organized by the Milan Propeller on March 3rd and 4th.
Two significant international missions are also under consideration: in Albania, coinciding with the return of the Vespucci ship from its world tour in April, in France, with a meeting scheduled for autumn.
“We are proud of the 26 Clubs spread across the country and the 1,400 members representing the shipping, port, and logistics sectors. This is a remarkable achievement, considering that about 40 years ago, there were only 8 Clubs. The Propeller,” concludes Umberto Masucci, “continues to be a forum for discussion and ideas in service of the Italian maritime, port, and logistics cluster.”
