Chios Marine Club Christmas and New Premises Inauguration event

The Chios Marine Club’s Christmas and New Premises inauguration event took place on 18 December 2024 in Piraeus at its new address, 34-39  Akti Miaouli Street at Lemos Maritime Building. The celebration of the new premises was accompanied by the Christmas gathering for members and guests of the Club.

The Inauguration ceremony began with the traditional blessing of new premises by Father Andreas, archpriest of Saint Nicholas Church Piraeus. The President of Chios Marine Club Capt. Antonis Pitsilos welcomed the sponsors who contributed to the renovation of the premises, and all participants. He pointed out that the Club has been active for 25 years. The acquisition of new offices was a “Vision that became a Reality”. He declared: “Our goal was to create an elegant and attractive place  for our members to visit more often and this will help us to increase the number of new members.”

Capt. Pitsilos warmly thanked the Donor of the property, our Benefactor and Honorary President of the Club, Capt. Christos Kakoulas, and the generous sponsors for their financial support in the renovation of the new offices.

The event was also honoured by former Presidents of the Association,  Antonis Faraklas and Markos Tripolitis as well as by many of the founding members.
