Dr. Maray Georgoussi, Art Historian (formerly a lecturer at the Ionian University, Greece), interviewed Shipping and Geopolitical analyst John Faraclas, co-founder of the international site allaboutshipping.co.uk .
Among other things, Faraclas referred to the following topics:
1. The geopolitical events and in particular the ongoing war in Ukraine, the Middle East – focusing on Syria, but also commented on the stance of Turkey, which has aspirations to influence the Central + East Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Middle East.
2. He was positioned on the impact of these developments for Greece and mainly its Shipping industry.
3. He commented on Immigration and Terrorism.
4. He also referred on the forthcoming Presidency of the planet’s ruler Donald Trump.
5. He spoke about the climate crisis and environmental protection, on the occasion of his participation as a speaker at the World Conference on Climate Crisis last September on the Island of Chios in the Aegean Sea, Greece.
6. In addition, he spoke about the Global and European Economy, emphasizing on the Greek Economy.
Finally, he referred to the current situation in the United Kingdom.
