Milan Design Week has always been a global stage for innovation, creativity, and artistic vision, but this year, 10 Corso Como takes its role to new heights, transforming into a dynamic creative hub that brings together some of the world’s most visionary designers and boundary-pushing installations. From April 7 to April 13, 2025, this iconic concept store will serve as a platform for immersive experiences, collaborations, and experimental exhibitions, proving once again why it remains a pioneering force in fashion, design, and contemporary culture

A Fusion of Fashion, Art, and Design

At the heart of this transformation is a curated selection of cutting-edge showcases, featuring some of the most influential names in the industry. Yohji Yamamoto, known for his poetic minimalism and radical silhouettes, takes over the 10 Corso Como Pop-up for a residency that extends beyond Design Week. His immersive installation will offer an intimate look at his latest Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear, menswear, and Discord collections, creating a space where fashion and philosophy merge.

In another striking fusion of heritage and futurismMaison Margiela x Gentle Monster unveils its third collaboration inside Gentle Monster’s first store in Italy, housed within 10 Corso Como. The pop-up presents cybercore-inspired abstract human forms, raw patterns, and sheer materials, pushing the boundaries between classicism and the avant-garde.

Innovative Exhibitions and Immersive Installations

The Project Room will host 101010, a retrospective celebrating ten years of pioneering design by Benjamin Hubert’s LAYER studio. This exhibition not only showcases past innovations but also presents a new collection of prototypes developed with top-tier brands such as MDF Italia, RÆBURN, and Bitossi, addressing key issues like sustainability, resource scarcity, and the future of materials.

For those drawn to sculptural and raw aesthetics, the Gallery at 10 Corso Como will feature a solo exhibition by Belgian designer Arno Declercq, known for his brutalist-inspired furniture crafted from wood, metal, and bronze. His works, influenced by ancient art and early 20th-century architecture, offer a powerful exploration of form, texture, and permanence.

Meanwhile, in the MezzanineAnteprima partners with renowned Japanese artist Mika Ninagawa to present a visually stunning installation featuring 1,500 strands of crystal garlands. This ethereal space, created to celebrate the reinterpretation of Anteprima’s WIREBAG, immerses visitors in a luminous world where light and color converge, symbolizing the fleeting beauty of life.

Jewelry as Wearable Art

In celebration of 20 years of artistryBibi van der Velden unveils a special installation inside the 10 Corso Como Store. Renowned for her innovative approach to fine jewelry, van der Velden redefines luxury with miniature sculptures that blur the lines between jewelry and contemporary art. Each piece is a statement of self-expression, crafted from unexpected materials and inspired by nature, history, and personal narratives.
