Greece has been awarded the “Agents’ Favourite Sunshine Getaway” at Travel Gossip’s The Travel Celebration 2025. This recognition is especially significant as it comes from the votes of British travel agents, underscoring Greece’s appeal as a top destination.
During the event, Greece has earned six other nominations, including “Agents’ Favourite Foodie Destination” and “ Agents’ Favourite Family Destination.” Santorini was shortlisted for “Agents’ Favourite Romantic Destination,” while Mykonos was nominated for “Agents’ Favourite LGBTQ+ Friendly Destination”.
It is encouraging that the season has started with positive feedback from January and February pre-bookings, and there’s hope that this trend will continue for a successful year for Greece’s tourism industry.
