Milan Design Week 2025 has no shortage of breathtaking collaborations, but one of the most luminous is undoubtedly the Anteprima x Mika Ninagawa exhibition currently lighting up 10 Corso Como. A seamless fusion of fashion, art, and storytelling, this dazzling showcase features two major installations: “Within the Breath of Light and Shadow”, a crystal-studded spectacle that plays with suncatchers, butterflies, hearts, and contrasting dark motifs; and “Liberation and Obsession”, a deeply introspective body of work that captures the acclaimed Japanese artist’s emotional depth through bold colors and layered symbolism.
Together, these installations speak to the dualities of joy and restraint, light and darkness, innocence and desire—inviting viewers into a vibrant, almost surreal visual journey.
The collaboration also marks the pre-launch of a capsule of six limited-edition Wirebag Art pieces, all inspired by Ninagawa’s immersive world. Adorned with reflective crystals, metallic stars, and whimsical charms, these bags aren’t just accessories—they’re wearable narratives filled with nostalgic playfulness and emotive power.
Fashion lovers can explore these treasures in person at the Mezzanine level of 10 Corso Como until April 12, with a full launch of the collection slated for June. Creative Director Izumi Ogino’s commitment to merging fashion with contemporary art shines through once again. With this exhibition, Anteprima not only showcases its Spring/Summer 2025 collection but also reaffirms its role as a visionary brand that elevates fashion into the realm of emotional and cultural dialogue.
