We are pleased to announce the 2nd Chios International Shipping Summit (CISS), organized by the Department of Shipping, Trade, and Transport of the University of the Aegean, on June 20 and June 21, 2025, in Chios and Oinousses, respectively.
The Summit aims to create a unique networking platform for the shipping community, where senior business professionals, institutional representatives, and academia experts meet, discuss, and share best practices and hands-on knowledge, focusing on current trends and challenges in the ever-changing global shipping landscape. Ultimately, the success of the 1st Chios International Shipping Summit confirmed the necessity of a continuous institutional dialogue between academia and the shipping industry.
This year’s Summit will feature key sessions on topics such as Capital and Carbon Markets, Geo-economics and Shipping, Education and Wellbeing of Seafarers, Trends in Short Sea Shipping, Sustainability, Developments in Coastal Shipping, and more.
An official invitation will follow within April 2025, along with the agenda of the Summit.
