Caspian Week 2025 – Introducing the Greater Caspian Summit

As the world faces unprecedented technological, geopolitical, and environmental transformations, Caspian Week 2025 in Baku will serve as a vital platform for dialogue, cooperation, and action. Global interest in the forum is growing rapidly, and we are preparing for an unprecedented level of international engagement.
Following the success ofthe “Sustainability Bridges to Peace and Prosperity” forum during COP29 in Baku, we are proud to announce a major new initiative: the Greater Caspian Summit, now an integral part of Caspian Week 2025.
Convened with thevisionary support of HE Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia and one of the most respected global figures of our time, the Greater Caspian Summit will bring together top officials and decision-makers from several countries around the world, alongside business leaders, academics, and civil society influencers.
Themed “Bridging GlobalNorth and Global South” the Summit will focus on reshaping global dialogue and development strategies with equity, sustainability, and innovationat the core. Key areas of discussion will include:
- Global Governance Reform: Reimagining supranational institutions to reflect a more inclusive and multipolar world.
- Resilient Industrialization in the AI Era: Harnessing digital transformation, clean technologies, and regional manufacturing for shared prosperity.
- Education, Jobs, and Civilizational Equity: Building cohesive, future-ready societies through education reform and workforce transformation.
- Food, Water, and Health Security: Addressing climate vulnerabilities and strengthening cross-border cooperation in essential services.
- Sustainable Infrastructure and Climate Alignment: Drawing on outcomes of COP29 and aligning efforts toward COP30 and beyond.
- Peacebuilding and Post-Conflict Reconstruction: Developing models for conflict resolution and sustainable recovery, including the Karabakh region.
Summit highlights will include:
- A high-level public session featuring strategic visions from participating country representatives.
- A closed-door roundtable led by Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
- The announcement of collaborative global initiatives in infrastructure, education, clean industry, and trade.
- A Joint Communiqué advancing Global North–Global South cooperation.
