Crane operations during cargo handling require precision and control. Failure to assess the unsafe load movement may lead to costly repairs, delays, and increased risk to personnel and equipment. Make a Good Catch by having a “toolbox talk” between crane operators and hatch teams to discuss safety measures like when to slow crane speeds and under what circumstances to issue a “Stop Work” order.
