
Eleni Letoni has published her first book, entitle “The Years of King Otto” (Papadopoulos Publications). The book narrates the story of the three first decades of the modern Greek state, from its foundation in the early 1830s until 1862, the year that Otto and Amalia, the first royal couple, was forced to leave the country and the throne.
A captivating narration of the most important moments of these 30 years, the book includes, some not so well known stories and also the details about some of the most fascinating characters of that historical period in Greece, such as king Otto, queen Amalia, the Duchess of Plaisance, Ioannis Kolletis, Armansberg, to name a few.
