During Milan Fashion Week, Anteprima introduced a captivating Fall/Winter 2025 collection that seamlessly fused contemporary art with elevated fashion. Creative Director Izumi Ogino collaborated with renowned artist Izumi Kato to deliver a show that felt more like a walking gallery than a traditional runway presentation.

A Modern Take on Primitivism

Titled “Modern Primitiv,” the collection drew inspiration from Kato’s surreal iconography—abstract faces, mysterious figures, and animal motifs—translating them into voluminous, genderless pieces that challenge the line between clothing and visual art. Ogino’s approach was rooted in emotion and simplicity, crafting garments that invite personal interpretation and evolve with time.

Earthy Colors, Rich Textures

Set against a palette of earthy and emotional tones—sage, khaki, camel, deep purple, cherry red, and dusty pink—the designs evoked both warmth and introspection. These shades were paired with tactile fabrics like mohair, fleece, nylon, bouclé, and soft cashmere, emphasizing comfort while creating a multi-sensory experience.

Art That Moves

Key pieces included oversized knits, sculptural coats, and softly structured jackets adorned with Kato’s otherworldly illustrations. The house’s signature wire bags were reimagined with 3D elements, adding playful dimension and reinforcing the idea that fashion, like art, can be interactive and evolving.

Beyond Seasonality

Anteprima’s FW25 wasn’t just about what to wear this winter—it was a call to rethink how we engage with clothes. Ogino positioned fashion as a living art form, inviting wearers to find their own meaning in each piece, much like one would interpret a painting or sculpture.

With this collection, Anteprima made a bold and poetic statement: true style comes from the ability to wear your imagination.
