The Solent’s maritime brilliance stole the spotlight at this year’s Maritime UK Awards (26 June 2025), as Solent businesses swept five of the eleven categories – an extraordinary achievement that showcases the region’s world-class excellence.
The 2025 Maritime UK winners from the Solent are:
- Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd – Business of the Year Award
- Carnival UK (P&O Cruises & Cunard) – Diversity and Inclusion Award
- Griffon Marine Ltd – International Trade Award
- Anchoright – Start-Up of the Year Award
- Millie Barnes, ABP – Rising Star

Solent businesses shone brightly among the finalists, securing multiple nominations across seven diverse categories showcasing the region’s maritime strength.
