Athens, 8 April 2016 – At the Tourism Awards 2016 glamorous ceremony, which was held on April 6th at the Athens Concert Hall, Navigator Travel & Tourist Services Ltd. received the Bronze Prize in the category “Initiatives for Environmental Protection / Public awareness / Monitoring of environmental indicators for Sustainable Tourism”.
Tourism Awards highlight the best practices from every corner of Greece and in all sectors of Travel, Hospitality and Leisure. The impact of these awards is huge and many of the most important Greek tourism companies compete for the coveted distinction. This year new award categories were added, such as Destination Management and Hotel Experience. All nominations were judged by a 27-member independent judging committee composed of academics, tourism experts and eminent personalities with view and experience in the hospitality industry such as: Nikos Skoulas, Yiannis Boutaris, Peter Economides, Yannis Syrros and Eric Parks.
