Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” and Maritime Authority of Tenerife, held a meeting with members of the Fire Consortium of Tenerife on the occasion of a training course on fire fighting on ships
Members of the Fire Consortium of the island of Tenerife developed a training course on fire fighting on ships, organized by the Port Authority of Tenerife.
Between the practical activities of the course a visit was made to the Maritime Authority installations, including the MRCC of SASEMAR, as well as the SCC of the Port Authority.
During the visit, the IMO Maritime Ambassador held a meeting with the present firemen, thanking them for their interest in getting more knowledge about the particularities of the maritime sector and expressed them the great confidence that the port community places in their professionalism.
