Dredging work will be carried out off the Keppel Singmarine Shipyard, West Jurong Channel, from 20 April to 30 June.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.63 of 2017 dated 18 April 2017, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum): Dredging works will be carried out by dredger, supported by hopper barges and tug boats. The dredger will be held in position by spuds-systems within the working area. The safety zone is a circular area of 50m radius centred at the dredger. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area. Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals. Installation of underwater measuring instrument in Southern Fairway |

An underwater measuring instrument is being installed in the Southern Fairway from 19 April to 15 October.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.60 of 2017, the installation works are being conducted between 0800 and 1800 hours local time today (19 April) and tomorrow (20 April) within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum): The installation of underwater measuring instrument on the seabed will be carried out by a work boat. The instrument will be retrieved after 6 months of data collection on site. Safety boats will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft during the installation work. Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals. Testing of underwater vehicle east of St John’s Island |

From 21 to 28 April, an underwater vehicle will be tested east of St John’s Island.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.65 of 2017, the testing will be conducted 0900 to 1800 hours, weekdays only, within the working areas bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): The experiment and collection of data will be carried out by an AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) within the working area. The AUV will be launched and operated from a work boat during the experiments. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft about the work.
