The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost earlier on today another fifteen points and now stands at 1,264 which is 983 points below the end of December 2013 level! CAUTION! John Faraclas’ daily briefing:
The Capes lost 65 points and the BCI now reads 2,231 points.
Losses for the Panamaxes with the BPI down to 1,340 – minus eight – a controlled so to speak loss…
One point plus for the Supras’ BSI was the “big” gain of the …dry day. At 908 the BSI survives in contrast with the rest of the indices…
The Handies’ BHSI lost two points and now reads 585 points.
Mixed feelings for the Wets; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 684 plus three and 602 – minus seven respectively…
The WTI at the same more or less levels; at US$ 64.35 as these lines are written still pauses dangers and unseasy situations…
The Geopolitical situation unfortunately remains the same; ultra mess.-
Have a nice evening and be on guard for any eventuality looming in the background by Pirates and Terrorists.
