The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) ended up today with another 26 plus points and now stands at 1,741 points – thanks once again to the Capes; Geopolitics though might create tsunamis of incalculable levels. John Faraclas’ brief recap:
The Capes continued its unprecedented rise and the BCI earned another 97 points today and now at 3,335 points makes waves! Caution though as it might go down…
The Panamaxes’ BPI gained just one point and now read 1,530 points.
A good five points plus for the Supras’ BSI which now is over and above the 1,000 points threshold – 1,003!
Two points plus for the Handies’ BHSI now at 561…
So a Capes market… and we advise you to be cautious; tomorrow is another day!
The Wets in a falling mode; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 738 – minus six and 499 – same as yesterday. We are all worried as the Wets are down and only when we see 1,000 for both Dirties and Cleans things will be safe!
The Geopolitical situation is beyond control and imagination! You will be surprised of what is yet to come!
The MIGRANTS issue deteriorates further…
The Wars in Syria and Iraq and in general the entire Middle East is on fire and expect a total conflagration!
Turkey continues to slide in economic chaos as well as creating mess in its entire periphery; turmoil at its best! CAUTION!
Greece in turmoil too both internal and external.

US President Trump’s and president Putin’s summit in Finland produced unimaginable news vis-à-vis the Russian interference before and during the 2016 American elections; in the beginning president Trump said that all was fine and Russians didn’t interfere; today all was changed… Expect a lot to come out. We are living in interesting times…
The EU and Japan signed one of the biggest ever free trade deals covering 600 million people and one third of Planet Ocean’s GDP! And now…? Excellent!
