Capes continue to distort the Markets…
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) ended up with just three points at 714. Geopolitics more than messy in all fronts with incalculable repercussions for all. John Faraclas’ brief daily recap:
The Capes gained 36 points with the BCI now standing at 312 points. Fine over and above the 300-point threshold but…
All other Dry Indices fell; the Panamaxes BPI lost 13 points and now reads 1,101; the Supras’ BSI down nine at 733; the Handies’ BHSI was down seven points at 425…
As numerous time have stressed in this column: one size doesn’t dictate nor make / constitute a market!
C A U T I O N !!
The Wets too on a …falling mode; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 617 – minus one and 614 – minus 30 points respectively. Wets look bleak! Another are of CAUTION!
The WTI as these lines are being written stands US$ 64.40 (23:00 BST). This level brings bad news as in case we go over and above the US$70 mark people will begin to go busted twice! Try to interpret this and let us have you view!
The Geopolitics as said in the preamble remain perplexed:
