The BDI@2,442; reflections and reality
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) ended up earlier on today at 2,442 points – plus 64 since last Friday; Geopolitics worsening. John Faraclas’ brief recap:
The Capes’ BCI gained nearly 200 points – 1192 to be precise and now at 4,659 seems on the safe side…
The Panamaxes’ BPI clinched just two points and now stands at 2,262
The Supras’ BSI was up ten at 1,346 and the
Handies’ BHSI gained six point and now stands at 671..
The Wets with mixed feelings; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 654 – minus two and 469 – plus one points respectively…
The WTI dropped a bit to US$ 54.81 from US$ 55.10 last Friday the 30th of August.
Geopolitics still messy with the MIGRANTS still the number one issue as well as the Trade Wars ready to saw its ugly face!
