BDI falls further; Geopolitics and Coronavirus still very perplexed…
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost 39 points since yesterday and now stands at 1,810. Geopolitics coupled with the Global Recession and Coronavirus’ “dubious” spreading will cause despicable developments all over Planet Ocean. John Faraclas brief daily recap:
The Capes’ BCI was down to 3,386 points – minus 184!
Panamaxes were up, modestly, at 1,557 the BPI does well – plus 40 points today…
Sill “rich pickings” for the Supras’ BSI now at 809 – over and above the 800 points threshold, up 38! and
Six plus points for the Handies’ BHSI now at 426…
The Wets still with mixed feelings; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 498 – plus six and 349 – minus nine points respectively; a big struggle here. CAUTION!
The WTI fell to US$ 39.59 – good news, as anything above the US$ 40 is an anathema with all due respect given both the deep Recession we are in as well as the catastrophe from the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This US$ 1.27 loss is profit for the 7.7 billion people on Planet Ocean…
Geopolitics are getting a dive with incalculable repercussions for Humanity… We can now hear the Drums of Wars, yes in plural, everywhere including possible social upturns which the current circumstances, unfortunately, favour. Caution. Remember: Winners TALK, Losers DON’T!!!!
Mind the faulty line from Gib to Afghanistan and from the Caucuses to the Horn of Africa; it is within this region that MIGRANTS took the lead as Planet Ocean’s most important issues – add that in the American Continent. It is within this faulty line that we have already Wars and hostilities and the coming of Armageddon!
Turkey stirs up a region which when we first mentioned, eyebrows appeared; now we are verbatim right! A region of 2,000 (two thousand) miles around its territory. Any objection? It is a MUST here and now the EU to act swiftly, even with a military action. When we first mentioned, given the MIGRANTS masses coming from the Anatolian Coast of Turkey that a Naval Blockage of the entire Anatolian Coast is more than paramount – together with a Mandate and Rules of Engagement, many thought that we go over the top. Now you see who is right, but Brussels hypocrisy is monumental. Let us hope that after the French – Turkish naval incident things change… Turkey and its Warmongers backers will make it a mess and MUST be sopped NOW! Let us also see what happens tomorrow with the provocative action of the Turks to turn the St. Sophia Cathedral (Aghia Sophia) museum and monument of international heritage to a mosque…  Despicable!
Europe sails in murky waters and the BREXIT mess adds to this. Shipbrokers are the bes to strike a deal!!! We know better than all those dimplomats who luck business diplomacy acumen!!!! …well they are undeer Political and Unionists duress… You dead well know what I mean!!! Shall we provoke them for a live debate? Eh!!!
At the other side of the Atlantic, things are not rosy… What will president Trump do if he wins another term in the White House…? Mind the upcoming poverty in Lain Central and South America!!
The Far East too is going through a messy period with China trying to become the dominant power but…

Lastly: Education and Training for all to be able to tackle these disasters. Let’s work collectively together and NOT opt for a fistful of Dollars to restart the already collapsed global economy… which is in red US$ 260 (twohundredandsixty) trillion…Â
