The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) fell 17 points since last Friday the 28th of August and now stands at 1,471 points. All indices expect the BHSI are down… The Wets too. The Geopolitical situation with Turkey’s despicable behaviour and all major powers delaying penalising or as they should interfere seems a midsummer’s night dream. Shame!!! Coronavirus spreads and Planet Ocean needs tough measures but same MUS be monitored at all times. John Faraclas’ daily recap:
The Capes’ BCI lost 42 points and now stand at 2,176 losing also the 2,200 points threshold…
Losses for the Panamaxes BPI now at 1,604 – minus 13…
“Grounded” Supras with the BSI still at 958 points…
What an “ace” that was with the Handies’ BHSI at 571 – up one!!!! That …”made” the day for in the Dry Market.
Falling Wets too; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 466 – minus eight and 482 – minus three points respectively. CAUTION!
The WTI surpassed once again the US$43 mark and now reads US$43.01 – up from US$ 42.92 on 28 August 2020… CAUTION: no one can afford a nickel above the US$ 40.-
The Geopolitics continue to go worse:

The faulty line between Gib and Afghanistan and from the Caucuses down to the Horn of Africa will produce World War III ; end of the story… take the facts from Turkey’s president designs which come up as well as his behaviour over the last five years escalating with despicable provocations to a point of no return. Greece and Cyprus will not stay put… The apathy of the international society in monumental… SHAME… Only France makes some moves, but let see us if president Macron will cut the Gordian Knot with the Turks… Remember: France, Greece and Turkey are also NATO “allies”… Cyprus and Greece are also European members… The Russian bear awaits to capitulate… A very perplexed end game affecting the entire Balkans – still with many unsettled scores plus religious mess, and also the entire Central, East Med and Middle East…
