Market Open Ceremony
As LISW celebrates its 6th edition and 10th anniversary, having grown exponentially since its launch in 2013 to become one of the most important and highly respected maritime events in the world, it is fitting that, once again, the week will be launched at the Market Open Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange at 08:00 on Monday 11 September.
LISW is designed to showcase London and the UK and shine a spotlight on the crucial role that they play in influencing the global maritime community. It also ensures that maritime remains high on the UK Government’s legislative and funding agenda. So where better to start the week.
Hosted by sponsors APTI Marine & Energy and Qatar Airways, the London Stock Exchange Market Open ceremony is a globally recognised symbol of a world-class financial and business centre. Synonymous with London’s unique history as a home to domestic and international business, the ceremony reflects the expertise and breadth of the London markets.
