After massive feedback from the affected industry, the Norwegian Maritime Authority has revised its proposal for the zero-emission regulation of Norway’s World Heritage and surrounding fjords.
The updated proposal – which is not final yet and still needs government approval – now has two alternatives, both of which allow some use of biofuels until 2035, but with different criteria and conditions.
