Dear Colleagues: PAYMENTS TO EAGLE OCEAN MARINE/EAGLE OCEAN AGENCIES, INC.: AN UPDATE
This Circular provides an update to the Circular issued on October 7, 2022 regarding payments to Eagle Ocean Marine (EOM)/Eagle Ocean Agencies, Inc. (EOA)
Insureds and their brokers are advised that, effective June 5, 2024, EOM’s/EOA’s bank account ending in 0613 at JP Morgan Chase will be closed. Any remittances, wire transfer or ACH payments to that account will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
Please also note that there has also been a delay in establishing a new bank account for EOM/EOA. Thus, Insureds and their brokers are asked to postpone any payments which they intended to make to EOM/EOA at any time after June 4, 2024 until further notice, and until such time as new banking details have been provided. Moreover, Insureds and their brokers are being asked to maintain all premiums due to EOM in either the Insureds’ or their brokers’ accounts on EOM’s behalf.
EOM recommends that Insureds take note of this information and be guided accordingly.
