A few hours ago we had the honour in participating in an interesting live interview at VERGINA TV’s studio in Athens. Stergios Kalogiros, VERGINA TV’s founder, following the latest incidents with drones in the Central and East Med, as well as in the Black Sea and Turkiye, questioned Greece’s Lt.Gen (Rt) Lazaros Kambouridis with John Faraclas commenting.
From our part, following the drone hit on the Omani flag Aframax (114,000 dwt) LR2 tanker “Qendil” – (said to be part of the Russian Shadow Fleet), how did Greece’s military and HCG responded given that the drone hit happened within the Athens FIR as well as and more importantly, in Greece’s S&R region? It doesn’t matter where same come from! Thank the 12 Olympian Gods, the tanker was cargo free. Imagine if same was laden, the incalculable ecological catastrophe!
