Oil rig expected at port
The oil rig ‘Scarabeo 7’ will be coming into the port of Cape Town on
Thursday 28 November, weather permitting. Every effort will be made by the
national ports authority, Transnet, to keep shipping delays to a minimum.

New draft restriction at terminal
A new draft restriction is being imposed by Santos Port Authority at
Usiminas and ValeFertil Terminal.
Due to restriction at Piacaguera Channel, the maximum permissible vessel
draft for inward/outward maneuvers is now 9.16 metres considering a zero
tide and 10.26 metres considering a high tide of 1.1 metres or more over
zero.
