Integration enables fleet operators to improve customer service
ORTEC, one of the world’s largest providers of advanced fleet planning and optimization solutions, has joined the .connect Partner Programme of TomTom Telematics to enhance customer service globally.
The programme gives technology suppliers development and commercial support to integrate with TomTom Telematics’ WEBFLEET platform, enabling their products to use the platform’s powerful fleet management data.
Across Europe it remains an industry wide challenge to improve the consumer experience and have tradesmen and delivery firms arriving on time for appointments. The integration of ORTEC routing and WEBFLEET offers companies a dynamic routing and scheduling solution based on a vehicle’s location and its estimated time of arrival (ETA), keeping end-customers updated on appointments and delivery times.

The opportunities for creating new hardware and software integrations, and capabilities of the WEBFLEET platform’s APIs, were showcased to more than 140 developers in Amsterdam last month at TomTom Telematics’ first International Developer Conference.
