UK ALGERIA TREADE MISSION 2015

The UK-Algeria Business Council (UKABC) are leading a multi sector Trade Mission to Algeria in mid-May, with the aim of bringing together businessmen, government decision makers and experts from both countries to facilitate and maximise business flow. This Mission will be co-ordinated in partnership with CT Trade Missions and in conjunction with UKTI.UKABC are frequent visitors to Algeria and run regular Trade Missions to the Algerian market, their previous Mission taking place in December 2014. With a detailed country specific knowledge of the market and a well-established network of contacts, delegates can be assured that their interests will be looked after by professionals with a very good knowledge and understanding of the Algerian Market who will be seeking to help you achieve your goals. Prospective delegates may also be interested to learn that positive feedback has been received from delegates on previous UKABC Missions.
About the Mission
From 10th to 13th May 2015, the UK Algeria Business Council will be visiting Algiers; the capital of Algeria.
A detailed programme of group meetings will be arranged by UKABC and will include meetings with major national companies, prospective partners, the Algiers Chamber of Commerce and local Ministries.

Market information
Algeria has a population of almost 40 million, about 70% of whom are estimated to be under 30. There is a clear enthusiasm and interest for British products and among EU nations the UK is one of the largest foreign investors. In 2013 the UK export trade was worth £529 million.
Many projects are currently taking place and are planned for the future. Algeria’s private and public sectors are looking for new partners to help them ensure the country’s economic growth. Algeria also seeks to bring about innovation across sectors by better integrating communication systems and harmonising financial services to benefit the region.
