The Capes’ BCI gained 20 points and now reads 2,189; the only size with a “substantial” rise…
The Panamaxes’ BPI was up just four points at 1,779; still very low…
Hiccups for the Supras’ BSI now at 1,200 – minus four points…
The Handies’ BHSI gained four points and now reads 661 points…
Both Wets on the up… The last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 921 and 598 points that’s eight and four points plus respectively…
The WTI on the low but with possible unexpected twists as Saudi Arabia wishes to play it tough… At US$ 71.72 maintains the US$70.00 plus threshold… Caution!
The environmental issues “complimenting” the shipping industry must be tackled with pragmatism within an appropriate time frame as otherwise we might see for no real reason many unwanted issues surfacing. SHAME to all Politicians, Diplomats and their cronies: they have spectacularly failed on this issue from day one! We are warning you that unless we see here and now and END to this mess we will be faced with a point of non-return! Meantime more and more are down, others killed – murdered, others raped and others – that’s serious, infiltrating our nations being Islamist Terrorists. ONLY a Naval Blockade with a Mandate and Rules of Engagement can give an end to this palaver.-
The Wars in Syria and Iraq continue and as we have said this is part of the region from Gibraltar to Afghanistan and from the Caucuses to the Horn of Africa were more or less 60 centum of Planet Ocean’s troubles emanate from!
Turkey continues in the same mode as before and nothing will change unless Erdogan and his Turks change; end of the story! The Jamal Khashoggi saga will create further turbulences in the wide region; very “odd”. The Andrew Brunson affair seems now so far away but no change in president Trumps policy on Turkey. Turkey continues to stir-up the entire region in a range of 1,000 miles… Erdogan and his Turks must learn to live peacefully with their neighbours and their lands they have occupied 1,000 years ago… The West and the East had enough from an untrusted neighbour and NATO ally. Add the Turkish policy of sending the MIGRANTS over and see what you get. The country with NATO’s second largest armed forces CANNOT seal its own frontiers… Expect tribulations accompanied by messy outcome… Lets see what happens on the 29th of October when drilling begins in the Antalya region… Turkey is a bankrupt nation with whatever this entails…

Israel has issues; issues needing coolness and professional in maintaining Peace at any cost…
Greece is still faced with internal as well as with external issues. Within Greece pathetic populism breaks new records! In its foreign affairs Greece is being bullied to the worse extend. Don’t be surprised of what might happen in Greece. ONLY the USA can help Greece!
