DATE: April 28, 2012 – COUNTRY: Hong Kong – PORT: Hong Kong Parade and Rescue Demonstration at Repulse Bay
The Water Safety Day will be conducted from 1000 to 1330 hours on 1 May 2012 at Repulse Bay.
The event will include a parade of about 10 vessels; a rescue operation with helicopter winching demonstration; and a 3000-metre swimming session.
The event will take place at Repulse Bay with the seaward boundaries delineated by straight lines joining the following positions:- (A) the west end of Tau Chau (B) the co-ordinates of 22° 13.8’N / 114° 11.0’E (WGS 84 Datum) (C) the southern tip of Middle Island
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep well clear from the above area.
