Lock closure for repairs

Due to repair works, the New Big South Lock Chamber at Kiel-Holtenau Locks will be out of service between 07:30 and about 14:00 on Tuesday (14 May).

The New Big North Lock Chamber and the Small North Lock Chamber will remain in service.

Vessels prohibited at anchor during monson period

During monsoon period and any rough weather period, vessels are prohibited to anchor at Porbander anchorage.

Any vessel approaching Porbander, to remain 5 miles southwest off break water and Masters to take necessary precaustions for the safety of vessels at all times.

Vessels to contact their agents after arriving 5 miles southwest off Porbander break water and arrival time to be registered for the purpose of berthing.

One the berthing plan is finalised vessel to approach the anchorage area and harbour area after informed by the port authority.
