Maritime security company announces major endorsement

City of London, UK – 6th June 2013 – Private Maritime Security Company, REDfour MSS Ltd Gains Section 5 Firearms License and SAMI Accreditations.

The Section 5 Firearms License to protect UK Registered Ships is there to allow the use of armed guards in exceptional circumstances where ships transiting the areas at risk of attack by pirates, to reduce the risk to lives and wellbeing of those aboard the ship.

REDfour supports SAMI, the Security Association for the Maritime Industry which exists to ensure that the maritime industry can easily identify reputable security companies and has been quick to adopt their 3 stage certification program, having just completed stage one.
