Dr Bob Middleton, Consultant
Bob is an engineer and businessman who has worked for 35 years in electrical power generation activities in 20 countries at senior levels with major international public and private organizations. Recent activities have included building an LNG gas-to-power business for a major West African private business. He is also currently a Board Member of a Middle East/Singapore private equity fund undertaking a series of acquisitions in India. The task includes ensuring that the targets have high value commercial contracts and efficient post-acquisition restructuring.
Marne Beukes, IHS Energy Analyst
Marné (MPhil International Relations Cambridge) has worked for a security risk consultancy specialising in the oil-producing countries of Sub-Saharan Africa. This was followed by energy analysis specialising in Sub-Saharan Africa and Australasia for the World Markets Energy product at IHS that delivers timely risk analysis, competitive intelligence and energy research and consultancy to the energy and finance industries. Nowadays, her exclusive focus is on the Southern and Eastern African energy market across the energy value chain.
