Construction of seawater intake culvert
For approximately 4 months, marine works involving construction of seawater intake culvert will be carried out [at Lok On Pai, Siu Lam] within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 21.725’N / 113 deg. 59.904’E
(B) 22 deg. 21.710’N / 113 deg. 59.887’E
(C) 22 deg. 21.722’N / 113 deg. 59.873’E
(D) 22 deg. 21.736’N / 113 deg. 59.889’E
The works will be carried out by a land-based excavator.
Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the boundary of the works area at co-ordinates (B) and (C).
The hours of work will be from 0800 hours to 1800 hours. No work will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays.
Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.

Grounded vessel sailed
The vessel that ran aground north of Bozcaada Island, 10 miles off the southern entry to the Dardanelles Strait, yesterday (31 July) sailed at 06.45 hours this morning after freeing itself through its own efforts.
