ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece offers Scholarships for Shipping studies to members of the Hellenic institute of Financial Management and participants of the 3rd Maritime Conference
On the occasion of the 3rd Maritime Conference “Shipping as a leverage to the economic developments in our Country” organized by Hellenic Management Association and Hellenic Institute of Financial Management, ALBA offers two partial scholarships of 50% and four partial scholarhips of 25% of the tuition fees, for Postgraduate Studies in Shipping.
Scholarships are open to all participants of the conference to take place on October 23rd and also to all Hellenic institute of Financial Management members, for the ALBA MBA in Shipping Program or the MSc in Shipping Management program, for the academic year 2013-2014. (Total cost for the ALBA MBA in Shipping Program is €19, 750 while for the MSc in Shipping Management is €12, 500).
Through a combination of academic rigor with practical knowledge, the ALBA MBA in shipping program provides students with the ability to make sound and timely decisions and to cope under pressure in the rapidly changing shipping environment. More than that, the program invests heavily in leadership and strategic management competencies, which are particularly relevant both as personal advantages and as essential resources for companies in this sector. The Program aims at currently employed working professionals with work experience of at least three years as well as in A Captains and D Engineers. The MSc in Shipping Management is designed to develop professionals equipped with the skills, knowledge and expertise required for a successful career in the demanding and highly competitive world of Shipping. The program provides students with a holistic and in depth knowledge of the most important issues in modern commercial shipping. Students will gain solid foundations of ship management, maritime economics, ship technology, chartering, maritime law, insurance, risk and strategic management, which are particularly relevant for companies in this sector.
