Airports reopened
Airports on Indonesia’s main island, Java, that closed after a powerful
volcanic explosion on Thursday (13 February) have now reopened.
Surabaya, Jogyakarta and Surakarta airports were closed due to reduced
visibility and the risk of ash to flight safety after Mount Kelud erupted
spewing ash into the air of East Java Province.
