Back at the sea-side Apollon Divani Hotel in Vouliagmeni where four years ago (2010) Panama staged, on the occasion of Posidonia 2014, one of its best ever events with over a …brigade participating; what a repeat ! A wonderful evening supported by the live Panamanian band, good food and drinks, continuous and intense networking where the ingredients for this year’s Posidonia Panamanian party!
The three syllabus (Pa-na-ma) and its “derivatives”, Panamanian, Panamax et al are today’s shipping world’s catch word(s)! All the eyes and minds of the world within or outside the shipping industry are focused on Panama, its canal and obviously its new Canal which hopefully will open before 2016; this was the main discussion as well as that of the dropping shipping markets at this wonderful venue during this unique reception and celebratory party! The faithful where there in crowds!

Such was the success of this Posidonia 2014 event, that nearly one square mile around the hotel was occupied by the guests cars, making it impossible even to approach – only some lucky guests with the exceptional greek cabbies, made it to the entrance!
