Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association will be hosting their Annual General Meeting and Conference in Limassol, Cyprus from 8 – 10 October
The conference, with the theme “Shipping Connects” will focus on the many ways the shipping industry connects people, nations, genders, past and future. The island of Cyprus is a strategic location connecting East and West, North and South, where women of the Shipping and Trading industry worldwide will meet to discuss the latest developments and to network with their peers.
The first day of the three day event will be exclusively for WISTA Members, with the Annual General Meeting of the Presidents of National WISTA Associations followed by the General Assembly.
On 9 October the public part of the Conference will start with keynote speakers and four panel discussions:

- · The Future of Ship Finance
- · Market Update (Chartering, S&P)
- · Innovation in networks in the Maritime Industry – finding ways for successful collaboration
On 10 October there will be another two panel discussions in the morning:
- · Offshore Energy and Shipping
- · Services: supporting shipping worldwide
More than 130 delegates have already registered and 30 panelists from the international shipping industry have been confirmed.
