DOMESTIC PASSENGERS (Using Terminal Directly)

DOMESTIC PASSENGERS (Not Using Terminal Directly)

New tariff: IDR 8, 000

Tugboat crew missing after collision
October 31, 2014, Malaysia, Kuantan
Five members of a tugboat crew are missing after a collision with a merchant ship about 9NM off Tanjung Gelang yesterday (30 October). One crew member was rescued by fishermen.
A search and rescue operation found debris, an oil slick and a life buoy about 4.2NM from the scene of the collision.

Temporary closure of landing steps
October 31, 2014, Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Landing steps No.1 & 2 of Central Pier No.9 will be temporarily closed between 0900 hours and 1600 hours from 10 to 16 November 2014 to facilitate an exhibition of a tug which will be berthed to the landing steps during the periods mentioned above.
Owners, operators, coxswains and person-in-charge of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure.

Reclamation works off Temasek Fairway

From 1 November 2014 to 19 January 2015, reclamation works will be conducted at Tuas View off Temasek Fairway.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.132 of 2014, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within a working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS Datum):
1) 1° 16.297’N / 103° 38.387’E
2) 1° 16.297’N / 103° 38.709’E
3) 1° 15.415’N / 103° 38.709’E
4) 1° 15.415’N / 103° 37.259’E
Reclamation works involve removal of existing stone shore protection, dredging work and underwater blasting at basin and sand key trench for Caisson.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working areas, mariners are reminded to:
(a) keep well clear and not to enter the working areas;
(b) maintain a proper lookout;
(c) proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
(d) maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Jurong Control);
and
(e) communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
