From 18 March to 18 September 2015, construction work will be carried out for a T-Bund at Marina East Staging Ground.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.26 of 2015, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01 deg. 17.165’N / 103 deg. 52.945’E
2) 01 deg. 16.982’N / 103 deg. 53.069’E
3) 01 deg. 16.864’N / 103 deg. 52.895’E
4) 01 deg. 17.047’N / 103 deg. 52.772’E
The construction will involve the unloading of fill materials onto the seabed using excavators.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);
e) Communicate with East Control on VHF Channel 12 for assistance, if required.

Naval celebrations in the Dardanelles

The Dardanelles will be closed between 0800 and 1600 hours tomorrow (17 March) and on Wednesday 18 March for trials and naval celebrations.
