The working period for work at Marina South staging ground has been extended. The works will now be conducted from 24 April to 24 October.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.39 of 2015, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

A) 01 deg. 16.481’N / 103 deg. 52.133’E

B) 01 deg. 16.578’N / 103 deg. 52.263’E

C) 01 deg. 16.493’N / 103 deg. 52.326’E

D) 01 deg. 16.396’N / 103 deg. 52.196’E

The work includes the removal and reinstatement to the temporary loading facilities at Marina South staging ground.

A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in ther works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);

and

e) Communicate with East Control on VHF Channel 12 for assistance, if required.
