Ioannis Chiotopoulos
Andreas Pagalos, Vice President, Regional Manager East Med., Black and Caspian Seas, DNV GL – Maritime, writes for Ioannis Chiotopoulos’ appointment:
After almost 15 years working in Korea and China , Ioannis Chiotopoulos will return to Greece in order to take the position as Regional Manager for Maritime Region East Med., Black & Caspian Seas, as of July 1st 2015.
A marine engineer and naval architect by education, Ioannis joined legacy DNV in 2000 after several years of work experience in Greek shipping companies. He has held a variety of positions within the company, such as Fleet in Service and Newbuilding surveyor, Site manager, New-building Production Manager and District and Area Manager in Greece, Korea and China respectively.
I believe, that It was about time to hand over leadership of the company in this part of the world, to our new generation of managers, who will ensure an even improved development of our Maritime business in this region for the years to come.

I will support Ioannis in the months to come in order to ensure a smooth transition, and I will continue to work as responsible for DNV GL Maritime activities and Customers in Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel and Lebanon.
