HAMBURG/KIEL The Supervisory Board of HSH Nordbank appointed Ulrik Lackschewitz (46) as the Bank’s Chief Risk Officer. He will take over the role of CRO on 1 October 2015 from Chief Financial Officer Stefan Ermisch (49), who has been in temporary charge of the Bank’s Risk Office since June 2015 following the departure of Edwin Wartenweiler.

Ulrik Lackschewitz will join HSH Nordbank from Hanover-based Nord/LB, where he has been Group Head Financial and Risk Control, reporting directly to the management board, since mid 2011. The native of Sweden previously worked in senior positions for various companies, among which as Chief Operating Officer for Macquarie Securities Group and as Head of Risk Management at Sal. Oppenheim Jr. & Cie., for BFG Bank as well as for Citibank.

“Ulrik Lackschewitz has wide-ranging, international experience in risk management with profound expertise involving shipping portfolios and represents a very encouraging enhancement of the Bank’s Management Board. We wish Mr. Lackschewitz every success for his new tasks, ” said Dr. Thomas Mirow, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HSH Nordbank.
