The international shipping community is sudden on learning that Marilena P. Laskarides passed away.
This tireless and down to earth matron has surpassed everything connected with humanity, charity, devotion and what we all support: corporate social responsibility! Since the beginning of the millennium she was devoted in running the Aikaterini Laskarides Foundation and Library in Piraeus as well as many other charities and cultural projects, amongst them the underwater research of the Antikythera region with the “Glaros”, being the heart and soul of these expeditions!
In these moments of family mourning we all think of her husband Panos Laskaridis, children Katerina, Susana, Christina and Panagiotis and their families…
