In line with the Subchapter M waterways rules which are due to come into effect in 2016, Helm Operations will introduce the full capability of it’s latest Maintenance and Compliance solution, Helm CONNECT, at this year’s International Workboat Show (IWS). IWS will serve as the perfect platform to announce the software’s new functionality and capabilities. As in previous years, the crew at Helm will offer another fun challenge to delegates to “get fixed up” at booth 3711, in order to gain insight into the seamless operation of the Maintenance feature. IWS is North America’s largest commercial marine trade show and conference. Running fromTuesday, December 1, through Thursday, December 3, the event will occupy the entire New Orleans Morial Convention Center. The three day show will be punctuated by an event featuring Helm CONNECT’s new Maintenance Dashboard functionality as well as offering a sneak peek at the new Compliance feature on the afternoon of December 1. Helm CONNECT Compliance gives shore based personnel over-sight to their entire fleet’s maintenance on one screen. That’s not all Helm has in store for attendees at the event. For the first time, co-exhibiting with parent company, ClassNK America, as well as sister company Safety Management Systems LLC, Helm plans to showcase the depth and expertise behind it’s flagship product, Helm CONNECT. VP Marketing, Rodger Banister says “We’re proud to highlight our relationship with ClassNK America and SMS LLC; our aim is to deliver a comprehensive Subchapter M compliance product as a direct result of that partnership.” Helm will showcase the most recent developments in the Helm CONNECT product, which add closed loop reporting, and email notifications to what is already acknowledged as the most user friendly maintenance and compliance software on the market. Banister invites attendees at the International Workboat Show to booth 3711 on December 1 to learn more about the newest release in Helm CONNECT Maintenance, Certifications, and other features.
